We have another milestone birthday celebration in our book club this month.
So what better excuse to get out the wonderful True Story set for a book-themed card to mark the occasion?

I seem to always fall back on my go-to colour palette for the True Story set, which is a mix of C9 cardstock colours – specifically in this case:
- Plumberry
- Lilac
- Sea Glass
- Eucalyptus
- Nectar
- Sorbet
- Evergreen
- Grape Soda
- Eggplant
- Fig
All the stamping features Color Crush inks from The Stamp Market, plus Apricot from Lawn Fawn for a softer peach tone. I also used ivory and gold Posca paint pens to add a little detail to the dotted borders.
And of course, to personalise the card, I used the lovely Julieta Alpha die set from Pinkfresh Studio for the monogram and numbers from the You’re My Type die set.
Here’s hoping the birthday girl likes it!
