I managed to sneak in some crafting time at the weekend and thought it would be fun to revisit a look that I will turn to again and again when time is in short supply! A postage-themed montage using ephemera.

This time the ephemera came from an old Spellbinders card kit called “Oh What Fun”, which I picked up in a sale a while ago.
But there’s so much ephemera packed in it, that I’ll be using it for years to come!
I started out blending Lawn Fawn ink on the Postage Stamps Cover die using the big fluffy brushes from Pinkfresh Studio for a soft blend. Their first outing, and I’m most impressed!
Then a little splattering of snowy paint set aside to dry while I flicked through all the ephemera pieces in the kit to work out what to go with.
I positioned them roughly on the panel in my Misti to work out where to place the Waffle Flower Postage collage stamped accents, then stuck everything down, including the sentiment from the Everyday Greetings stamps set.
Finally, I mounted the postage stamp panel on some pink cardstock that was included in the kit, and there we go!
