This week’s Festive Friday project sees the return of a great floral layering set on my craft desk…

I thought it was high time to bring out the Festive Blooms bundle from Concord & 9th for a little therapeutic crafting at the weekend, well at least before I succumbed to a stinking cold.
I always find this set a good one for de-stressing as you can approach each die element methodically, cut what you need, then assemble it all.
I used a good mix of cardstock colours from C9, starting with the background to my card:
- Rainforest
- Almond
- Artichoke
- Eucalyptus
- Cocoa
- Cayenne
- Juniper
- Grapefruit
- Nectar
- Stardust
- Shortbread
- White
I have to say my new dual-tip tool from Pinkfresh Studio was great for positioning those fiddlier elements like the berries and flower centres just right. Highly recommend if you’ve not purchased a similar tool yet!
Once the blooms were all assembled, I splattered the background with white and antique gold paint, and then added a pre-stamped Tear Strip Tags sentiment to finish off the card.
