Well I am back from my little blog break – I was away on holiday at the beginning of April for a family visit to Cornwall to see the Cornish branch of the family (plus a few sights and eateries) and it’s been a bit non-stop ever since despite it being a rather quiet month on the work front sadly.
But hey ho, you’d have thought I’d got lots of exciting crafty things done in that time – but no!
However on the crafty front, I’m finally back with a new project to share today for this week’s fun Coffee Shop-inspired dare by Leo up on the Daring Cardmakers blog.
Sadly I didn’t have any beverage embellishments or stamps that I could easily locate in my stash, and much as I would have liked to pay homage to a nice Cornish cream tea, I didn’t have any scone-related items knocking about either!
So instead I give you a humble yet pretty little cupcake:

Paper, stickers and die-cuts: Pebbles – Spring Fling
Stamp: Simon Says Stamp
Other: 3D foam tape

A nice and simple number – I seem to be doing a lot of those lately, I really hope to get back into the swing of more detailed cardmaking again but my creative brain just isn’t cooperating of late. But then again I am off for a crafty get away next weekend and hope to take a load of stamps and dies with me in hopes of something rather creative getting done. 😉
The design team has come up with some lovely examples this week so do pop on over to the blog to check them out and play along! 🙂
Happy crafting!
