As promised, I’m back with another project featuring supplies from the new Mugs & Kisses collection released by Spellbinders earlier in the month in its US and UK stores.

Prepare for some super cute mugs!

I have been lucky enough to get crafty with two of the items in this release:

• The Mug Friends die set (US|UK)
• The Snow Joy 2-step stencil set (US|UK)

In addition to the Mug Friends dies and Snow Joy stencils that I’m using today, the Mugs & Kisses collection also includes:

• The Mugs & Kisses Sentiments stamp set (US|UK)
• The Mugs & Kisses Bundle (US|UK) containing the above dies, stamps, and stencils
• The Decorate the Season press and foil plate (US|UK)

For this dimensional card, I started out by blending Blush Pink ink onto Bellini cardstock using the Snow Joy stencils (US|UK).

I trimmed the panel down with one of the Essential Arches dies (US|UK) and got to work assembling the penguin Mug Friends dies (US|UK) using ColorWheel cardstock in the following shades:

• Grey penguin: Anchor, Alabaster, Raven (behind the eyes), Saffron, Mint, Truffle, Blush, Poppy
• Black penguin: Raven, White, Saffron, Tutu, Truffle, Alabaster, Blush, Poppy

To create the pop-up snow, I cut a piece of cardstock and scored it so it would fold down into an envelope. Before attaching it to the background arch, I simply cut a snow bank with scissors.

Next I added snowflakes from the Mug Friends set (US|UK) cut from glitter card.

For my sentiment, I used the now retired Sending You stamps and dies, with the smaller sentiment stamped on a Chiffon banner cut from the Gifting Bow die set (US|UK).
