I’ve managed to play along with the Daring Cardmakers challenge this week and it’s rather a fun one! 😀
Purvi has challenged us to use doodling on our cards in some way. Whether it’s doodling a design from scratch or using doodle-style elements or just adding a bit of something here and there.
Well I had the July Simon Says Stamp card kit on my desk and was flipping through the lovely Pink Fresh Studio Indigo Hills papers when I saw one design that reminded me a little of Scandinavian floral prints and the Sanderson Dandelion print, so I got my trusty black cat pen out and added a few lines here and there:
Paper: Pink Fresh Studio – Indigo Hills
Stamp: Simon Says Stamp
Dies: Neat & Tangled
Other: pearl, vellum
I think the added doodle worked quite well for the border. 🙂 And I really like the grey hybrid ink that was included with the kit, it’s dark enough for greetings but not as harsh as some darker greys.
