So I’m starting off the week with another floral card – this time with much more muted tones and using some old papers in my collection that I really love.
In fact I’ve not bought any new patterned paper at all this year, I’m using what I have for now.
Shocking isn’t it! lol
There’s about £15 of paper sat in my basket over at Hey Little Magpie but I keep adding the odd sheet here or there and holding out for more to come in that will tempt me.
In the meantime I’m rediscovering what I’ve had for a while and seeing how I can best use it other than putting it to use with my WRMK envelope punch!

I really love this combo of pale yellow and greys – I don’t have many yellow papers in my stash as so many paper designs have really specific shades of yellow that don’t work with anything else other than the papers in the rest of the collection. This yellow is just so versatile and I really like the simplicity of the chevron print. It’s a good job I snapped up several sheets of it when it went on sale way back when.
As a contrast to the yellow I used Wild Rose Lawn Fawn ink teamed up with MFT Cement Gray and Grout Gray ink pads.
And of course there had to be some clear sequins – so handy!
The edger die was borrowed from a crafty friend at a crop – it’s by MFT and is currently sitting on my wishlist. 😉
