Better late than never! August Pantone challenge card

I’m trying to catch up a little with the projects I’ve shared on Instagram but not yet blogged.

Back in early August I actually managed to make a card for the August Pantone pick of Navy Peony.

Other: Tonic Nuvo Crystal Drops, 3D foam tape

I had a fun time combining my various Distress inks in blues and grey inks to try out an alternative colour palette for this rather beloved stamp set! Makes a change from the usual green leaves, eh?

I paired the stamps and dies with some Pebbles spotty grey paper I had in my stash and the tag die-cut that I cut at a crop earlier in the year when borrowing a friend’s dies. As always those PTI Graceful Greetings stamps and dies are just the perfect font, size and style to add a pretty sentiment that doesn’t cover up all your hard work of stamping those flowers.

I really love the finishing touch the oyster Nuvo drops provide. So subtle.
