Yep, there was some very old stash that made it onto this project, in fact it must be going on 10 years old now! While I was reorganising my Alex unit to house this particular delivery…
…I had a little sort out of the entire unit that houses my ink collection, and one of the rediscoveries that was still fit for purpose was the box of 3D Zots from back in the day – a nice alternative to foam tape that I’ll be using until they’re gone! Still sticky and not yellowed, unlike many other strip/tape adhesives I still had for scrapbooking including the photo corners from Xyron which were no longer sticky and had all gone yellow. Glad I hadn’t used those in an “archival” scrapbook!
ut anyway, back to the project – my elements were the flamingo, the use of blush pink and a fancy/bold font!
When I first used the Big Top background stamp from WPlus9 I stamped a few backgrounds in different colours with my Misti while the stamp was out, so this pre-stamped background came in handy!
The stamps have had their first outing, I received them free with an order from Ellen Hutson for some other exclusive dies.
Anyway, expect to see more of those pre-stamped Big Top backgrounds, I have another card coming up with a different colour combo. 😉
