It’s been a busy old work week for me so not much crafting done on the evenings other than a little OCD organising, aka starting a stamp and die inventory so I can find things easier (especially for sentiments).
But last weekend I had some time to get a few cards made, including my card for this week’s Daring Cardmakers dare.
Our challenge is inspired by your usual morning break tipple or treat.
Well, I’m not much of a coffee or tea drinker unless they’re in iced form and I don’t have hot chocolate all that often at home, but I always have a glass of Robinsons Barley on the go (in fact I have about 7 different flavours in the cupboard right now – blueberry and pear the current fave, but wish they’d bring back raspberry and orange which was a limited edition a few years ago). Anyway, yep a nice fruity drink and my favourite of all – still raspberry lemonade inspired this card:

And you may spot that the Big Top background stamp is having it’s 3rd outing in a row for the Daring Cardmakers challenge. That’s the last of the prestamped backgrounds I made. I tried a fair few other backgrounds when making this card, but in the end the yellow background looked the best with this tag I made and well, the yellow frame was definitely needed!
It’s nice to use some spring colours – I hardly ever use yellow, but things may be changing. 🙂
