Borders
…this month!
- The perfect opportunity to take a look at your punch drawer again, see what you have that you've not used for a while
- Look to your dies to make intricate borders to contrast over another piece of paper, or even to create a shaped edge to your actual card base
- Don't forget you can create a custom border of images using those small elements in stamp sets, you can even add some lovely corner details this way
- Subtle borders can be created by scoring lines for an embossed or de-bossed edge
- Then there's always doodling with a pen
- And last but not least, when was the last time you sewed on a project? My sewing machine hasn't been put to much use in papercraft for a while, and I do love some of the more decorative stitches on there.
For such a simple design element, there are definitely plenty of options to consider! 😀
