Friday at last and a brand new dare is up over on the Daring Cardmakers blog.
The first Friday of the month is always our elemental inspiration challenge, and it was my turn to pick the photo this month:
I loved the colours and images in this photo – so many elements that can be translated to a card.
These were the elements I chose:

- Strings of sequins
- Orange florals

It was nice to drag out some retired product to pair up with newer purchases. I even managed to use up a piece of paper in my scrap box that is over 10 years old! Perfect for adding sequins to the “stitching”.
It’s not overly obvious in the photos, but I tried to weather the wooden frame by blending light grey ink in places.
