2019 card challenge – August card

I had some of the Summer Stems I’d stamped out the other week left over and begging to be used on another card.

So another card I made – this time inspired by the August card challenge but also the Simon Says Stamp August Instagram challenge:

Interestingly I’d already stamped out the background patterns in different grey inks in preparation for using them on a card somewhere down the line. And hey presto, they proved to be the perfect backgrounds for this card.

I just needed to do a little die-cutting and also cut and stamp a sentiment strip to finish off the card.
