Take a Flying Leap! | Daring Cardmakers Challenge

This week’s Daring Cardmakers challenge comes from Svenja! 😀

We’re celebrating the fact that 2020 is a leap year, so you just need to feature something that leaps on your card.

I thought this would be the perfect time to get my first Easter card of 2020 made:

I wanted to also incorporate some layers to showcase the bunny rabbit (that I use every single Easter!) and my “new” Lil’ Inker egg die provides the perfect aperture for this.

As you can see I just went full on with the pastel shades to counter that busy plaid background, plus I had the perfect greeting for this theme in my collection of sentiments from Memory Box.

I’m not sure why yellow is so difficult to photograph well, but this card looks much nicer in real life.
