It’s time for yet another clean and simple card. 😀

I was inspired by the graphic and multi-coloured word art, thinking it was about time I used some of my alphabet stamps and dies:

The Whimsy Alphabet from WPlus9 has been much underused by me. But recently looking at colour combos for my inks from The Stamp Market I decided I should get it out and use it with these bright and vibrant inks.
I’ve had good results stamping with these inks in particular on Bristol Board paper. I had a pad of the 250 gsm paper from The Range and although the weight is a bit thin for my taste as a cardstock, I have found it much easier to get clean impressions with this coated paper that is similar to Stampin’ Up Whisper White and will probably buy more in a heavier weight if I can find it rather than get more 80 lb Neenah.
Anyway, yes, once I’d got the order of the colours sorted I mounted them on aqua cardstock ready to showcase with a cover plate.
And well, that Modern Motif cover die from The Stamp Market is one I will be using a lot when I just want some white-on-white texture.
I wanted to continue the pops of colour, so used a large solid shape stamp to add colour to the cutouts. It worked quite well and saves having to cut the cover plate from cardstock shapes to get this contrast.
I wondered about adding sequins, but when I tried to work out where to put them it really made things look a bit busy.
So I just left it at that on this occasion. 😉
