Good old patterned paper, how I love you!
Hanging onto the smallest scraps is something I’ve always done with Christmas collections. And well, that snowflake paper must be at least a decade old now, but look how well it goes with newer paper designs and looks?
Versatility is always the way to go when paper shopping these days – I’m no longer a total trend follower with scrapbook collections, as I know how quickly you can fall in love with another look before you’ve had chance to use what you already have.
But subtle aqua papers and woodgrain? Yep, I’m sold. It’ll always get used on a Christmas card if nothing else.
Christmas collections seem to be the only papers I’ve bought in the last few years and the village paper used on this card was from that purchase back in 2018…
I know when I bought the Joy, Love, Peace die from MFT last year that this is the design I’d use it for time and again – especially with woodgrain in the open bits. 🙂
