Well you knew it wouldn’t be long before I had to return with a little wintry village scene. 😉
This time using the Townhouse dies from Poppystamps to create a rather minimal look:

I thought those little townhouses would look great on a jumbo tag – specifically, my favourite jumbo tag of them all from The Stamp Market.
I had a notion of using a sentiment strip to separate the paper wintry night village at the top, complete with a single stitched star in the night sky, from the big glittery white space that is the bottom of the tag.
This is also a great way to use those longer typed sentiments in my stash. I tend to use the shorter sentiments on cards, as they always fit the labels I use. But I loved using this apt sentiment that stretches right across the jumbo tag as though it was designed with this project in mind. And it’s a good way to use up any spare 1/4″ die-cut strips from other projects. 😉
I still needed to inject a bit of colour, so of course I turned to my trusty supply of festive papers and added some bright berry Nuvo drops.
This is also a great way to use some of the longer typed sentiments in my stash. I tend to use the shorter words on cards, but I loved using this apt sentiment that stretches right across the jumbo tag.
It’s simple and minimal and I just love that look for little scenes like this. 🙂
