Today’s card is a celebration of what you can do with the left-overs that have been sat in your stash for a while or are still on your desk from a recent project. 😉

This is definitely a clean and simple card – but sometimes that’s all you need in order to use up those scraps.
The design reminds me a bit of those framed wall art hangings that are so popular in interior design.
The whole project originally revolved around using the spare mini hoop I die cut for yesterday’s card to create a festive accent. I found the striped frame among the paper scraps of an old Elle’s Studio Christmas collection and am so happy that it has finally made it onto a project, as I loved this stripey paper and don’t have much of it left.
I needed some bold word art for this look and stamped the Avery Elle sentiment on a woodgrain paper from Crate Paper’s Snow & Cocoa collection.
Finally, I raided my cardstock scraps to cut the heart and little festive branches and my card was done. 😀
