I wasn’t sure I’d get to make this card design in time for my countdown series, because the post has been really disrupted lately with so much more online shopping happening. But after almost two weeks in the postal system, my new supplies arrived safely, and I had the fun of using them this side of Christmas. 🙂

I had already created the chevron background a few weeks ago layering white cardstock on grey, but the project I was going to use it for didn’t turn out right, so I ditched that idea and kept the chevron panel to hand waiting for new inspiration.
My new supplies were the Holly Jolly die and the Ornate Banners – both getting their first outing here. The Holly Jolly die has been cut from 10 shades of The Stamp Market cardstock (inspired by the colour order in the marketing photos for this die set). I popped it up on additional foam tape on the Ornate Banner, which has been decorated with a peppermint stripe at the top for a little festive contrast.
And to match the sentiment, there did of course need to be a sprig of holly.
I’m almost out of tiny red enamel dots for berries, and I just find them easier to use than doing berries with Nuvo Drops, as you need to do one berry, wait for it to dry then do the other berry otherwise they meld into each other.
I wish a manufacturer would just release a set of small red enamel dots in one size. lol
