Birthday Wishes | The Greetery Print Shop Floral Frame

Happy weekend!

A few weekends back I had a nice crafty session playing with some new supplies from The Greetery, namely the Print Shop: Floral Frame stencil, stamp, and die bundle.

Here are a couple of the cards I created.

The first card uses warmer pink tones:

All the inks I used are listed below, but I liked the idea of combining warmer pink tones and orange for the berries.

For the sentiment, I used the birthday greeting from the Everyday Labels set which coordinates with the Handmade Labels die set.

It’s a very clean and simple design with no additional frills, just some clear Nuvo drops for a little interest against the white background.

Both die-cuts are popped up on scrap cardstock pieces rather than 3D foam tape. This makes it easy to created varied layers of different height.

For my next card, went with brighter pink tones and incorporated a little more texture by using rustic white cardstock (an off-white shade) for the background panel:

I really like that variation in colour between the super bright white and the duller rustic white. It’s a small detail, but it makes the sentiment pop out more.
