In the Nick of Time | Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Good morning!

This week over on the Daring Cardmakers blog, Rizwana is challenging us to use a time piece of some sort on our card projects.

Well, they’re not something I really have in my stamp and die collection, but thankfully Crate Paper ephemera came to the rescue!

Card inspiration from Handmade by Natty featuring The Greetery Opposites Attract

Paper: MME – Follow Your Heart – Be Amazing (r)
Ephemera: Crate Paper – Wonder (r)

Dies: The Greetery – Opposites Attract, The Greetery – Opposites Attract Script, PTI – Round Off Edgers

I found this fab little clock in the ephemera pack from Crate Paper’s Wonder collection. I really liked the yellow and grey tones and knew I had a 6×6 pad of MME paper that would provide some great patterns and contrasting shades.

So I created lots of layers of different papers for the backdrop (including some decorative edging) and stamped out the sentiments from the Opposites Attract set from The Greetery.

They’re popped up on a scrap cardstock strips for a bit of dimension, can’t have a card without a bit of layering. 😉
