I had a rather productive craft session at the weekend. I’ve felt like I’ve been in a bit of a creative slump recently, but what always helps is using supplies that take a lot of the decision-making out of it.
One of my favourite sets for this is the Print Shop Floral Frame from The Greetery.
All you have to do is choose the ink colours for your stencilled florals, and the rest is easy.

This time I went with darker shades for my base colours, they really stand out against the French blue cardstock I used as the base.
Once I’d stencilled and stamped all the elements, I cut the panel with the largest diagonal stitched rectangle die from Pinkfresh Studio, popped the panel on some strips of cardstock offcuts to raise it up a little, then went ahead and stamped my sentiments with the Written in Ribbons set in two tones of aqua, not that it’s too obvious in the photo. Then added a closing sentiment from the same set on grey cardstock and finally used Nuvo drops to added some details to the finished card.
I also like to pair outside sentiments with a great stamp set for the inside called Mixed Wishes Greetings from Mama Elephant. When there isn’t room for lots of text on the front, this set provides some great words to go inside. I’ve listed this set below.
