In honour of Her Majesty’s 96th birthday, my card for this week’s Daring Cardmakers challenge has a bit of a regal look to it. 😉
The theme this week is The Time of Your Life, and includes taking inspiration from vintage themes.

My vintage inspiration comes from Bridgerton and the regency palette used in the show – wisteria and lilac tones, pale blue, some sparkly diamond of the first water silver thread, even a bit of bling – oh and a dash of coral as sported by Emma Woodhouse in the BBC adaptation of Emma. Still my fave!
Also, another nod to Her Majesty, I did all the stitching for this card (on the Spellbinders Stitched Petal Frame die) whilst watching her favourite 007 in No Time to Die, which is on Prime along with all the other Bonds. Just a typical Bank Holiday weekend in the UK – always a Bond movie to enjoy somewhere.
Once the panel was done, I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant on white cardstock and cut it out with one of the dies from the Sentiment Suite Basics set from The Greetery. Even if you don’t have any of the Sentiment Suite stamps designed to fit this die set, there are some great sentiment strips and banners that will work with existing sentiments you may have. I just loved the pierced detail on the sentiment banner that really helps elevate the card.
