The elements I went with were a striped background inspired by the beach huts and wooden boardwalk, the florals, and the flying seagulls (transformed into friendlier bees on my card!):

This past week, I’ve had chance to play with some “new” additions to my ink line up and recent-ish purchases from The Greetery. 😀
I started out by creating the Container Garden scene with muted tones from The Stamp Market Color Crush ink range. I die-cut the Jumbo Jar from a subtle blue ombré patterned paper in my stash, but to add a bit more blue to the jar frame, I went over it with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide, gave it a spritz with water here and there, and also added splatters of sage ink (which is also splattered on the shiplap background paper). This made the frame stand out that much better from the background and from the blue inside the jar.
I then die-cut the jar aperture from the background paper, which was already cut with the largest Diagonal Stitched Rectangle in the die set from Pinkfresh Studio.
It was then just a matter of assembling the jar elements on the card, finishing off with a Sentiment Suite tag and Birthday sentiment attached under the champagne glitter lid, complete with a small stamped bow from The Stamp Market Happiest of Birthdays set.
Those small sentiments and elements in your stash can really come in handy when you don’t want to hide all your multistep stamping with an oversized sentiment strip. 🙂
