Today’s card was made when I was in full stencil mode. 🙂
The Print Shop series from The Greetery, which usually involves a stencil, stamp, and die combo has made me appreciate stencils a lot more.
So when I saw the Folk Floral Print stencil set from Pinkfresh Studios in the sale section earlier this year, I added it to my basket. 🙂
This is a stand-alone set of layering stencils, but you can add in your own details.

Dies: The Greetery – Opposites Attract, The Greetery – Opposites Attract Script, Pinkfresh Studio – Diagonal Stitched Rectangles
Taking an A2 panel of white cardstock, I used various inks from The Stamp Market to create each layer, sometimes masking off certain elements to use a contrasting colour on those.
Once all the layers were dry, I die-cut the panel with a diagonal stitched rectangle die from Pinkfresh Studio.
I used similar shades of coloured pencils to add in the details on the flowers and leaves, and it really brought the panel to life.
I then stamped and die-cut the sentiments with the Opposites Attract set from The Greetery, using bright fuchsia pink for the larger sentiment, so it really stands out.
I mounted the panel on a green cardstock base, using left-over cardstock pieces to pop up the panel for extra dimension.
One way or another, my big stash of 12×12 Bazzill cardstock from my scrapping days is getting put to good use for card bases. So it’s more than likely the next card will feature another of the 400 or so different shades of cardstock they released! lol
