It’s a brand-new challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog, inspired by the phrase “Crowning Glory”.
Well, what better excuse to give the brand-new release from The Greetery its first outing:

I used the new Takes the Cake product suite, which includes stencils, stamps, and various coordinating dies to create all the elements of the cake.
I used glitter cardstock for the fancy icing details, and metallic cardstock for the cake stand and the numbers crowning the cake.
I just love the colour and design possibilities of this product suite. 😀
I also used the Sparkler background stamp as the backdrop for the cake, combined with the Fluted rectangle dies from Spellbinders.
As a finishing touch, I added Twisted Crêpe streamers behind the cake.
