I’m over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with a clean and simple take on the Honeysuckle Stems set from The Greetery.

There are 3 large stems in this set, with 4 stamp-layering steps for the flowers and 2 for the leafy stems.
I stuck to bright pink shades for the flowers, but am tempted to go off-piste next time I use this set. 😀
The raspberry ink for the darkest pink step is also used for the Opposites Attract sentiment.
To tie the stems together, I used the twine die from the Fit to Be Tied die set.
I created a watercolour wash for the background of my card. I like to use A2 panel dies like the one in the Avery Elle Custom Panel set to cut the watercolour panels to the right size. This helps flatten them down again after watercolouring and creates a nice rounded edge for this heavier-weight cardstock.
Finally, I added some pearlescent ivory sequins as a finishing touch for some subtle bling.
