Morning all!
It’s the first Friday of a new month, so we’ve got a new elemental inspiration challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog this week.
But it’s not just any elemental inspiration challenge, this is the first challenge in our new series leading up to Christmas.
You can make whatever you want in these Christmas countdown challenges: tags, cards, boxes, decor, whatever you fancy, as long as it’s inspired by the challenge theme.
And here’s the image to get us started this week.
For my three elements I went with a bow, fair isle pattern, and a mix of a bold and scripty sentiment.

Stencils: The Greetery – Fair Isle
It wasn’t going to be long before I used the Big Beautiful Bow from The Greetery on another card… it was just too tempting to pair it with the Fair Isle stencil set to mimic a pile of PJs or Christmas jumper tied up ready to go under the tree.
I blended the stencils on cream cardstock for a softer look, but stuck to the festive reds, greens and a hint of light pink and aqua.
For my bold sentiment, there was no option but to use the Opposites Attract Holiday set.
Everything was then mounted on a red card base and the card was done. 🙂
