Morning all!
There’s a fun new challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog this week, where Joanne is challenging us to feature “round” things (so basically circles of any kind) on our cards.
Well, I’m still working through my little dish of die-cuts that haven’t made it onto a project yet, and I thankfully found the perfect candidate with this embroidery hoop from The Stamp Market:

In fact, this card came together quite quickly, as I already had a card base covered in that striped paper in the ziplock bag with the rest of the Garden Party collection.
And I remembered that this collection included some lovely layered flower stickers that would look perfect in an embroidery hoop.
With a little more delving in the off cuts from that collection I also found the perfect size of paper to act as the backdrop to my embroidery hoop, and a label in the cut-apart journaling card sheet for me to add a stamped sentiment.
I still had the Large Scallop Ribbon Maker dies out on my desk, so simply created a white scallop border to create contrast between the papers.
And as a finishing touch, I added a little bow to the pansies from the It’s a Wrap Mini Posy Pocket die set.
It was also a happy discovery to find that The Stamp Market’s Citrine cardstock is a good compliment to the Garden Party collection. 🙂
