It’s my turn to set the challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog this week, and well, I’ve been inspired by the current trend in postal themes.
I finally succumbed and have invested in my first Waffle Flower Postage Collage products.
So, hence this being the perfect excuse to give them a whirl!

Stencils: Waffle Flower – Postage Collage Coloring, Waffle Flower – Postage Collage Wild Flower
It was all because of those Wild Flower stencils! My resistance was still firm, but finally those wild flowers tipped me over the edge and I will no doubt be adding to my Postage Collage collection in due course.
I started out by stencilling light rainbow tones of Lawn Fawn ink inside the blocks of the Postage Collage die.
I then went in with a mix of dye inks to create the florals.
While they dried, I stencilled an airmail border around my card base and grabbed an old set of postage-themed stamps from PTI to add the postal details (as I don’t have any Postage Collage stamps yet).
I wanted to include a handwritten looking sentiment that would pop out, so used the Everyday Greetings set from The Stamp Market for this.
To complete the look, I finally had the chance to feature the Pen Pal die from The Greetery. It’s the perfect fit for the Postage Collage collection.
