I’m over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with a new project featuring Waffle Flower’s Christmas in July release!
I was honoured to be invited to guest design for Waffle Flower for this release, and I’m so excited to see these products out in the wild now! In fact, I’m rather tempted to just keep creating Christmas cards for the rest of the month!
A particular favourite is the new Postage Collage Snowman stencil set.

There are just two layers to this set, so great for making multiple cards and getting creative with your colour combos.
I picked out six shades in a mix of pinks, aqua tones, lavender, and a bold emerald green for these jolly fellows.
You can use larger brushes to fill in the first layer of colour, then go in with a smaller shader brush to add the black arms and faces.
The carrot noses and buttons are on the next stencil.
Once the Postage Collage panel was dry, I added the layer 1 stencil back over the top, covered the faces on the stencil with masking tape, and splattered snowy white ink over so it would just land in the “sky” areas.
Another new addition to the Postage Collage family is the Royal Mail stamp set that finally allows us to add some UK accents to our stamps. I used a few here and also used the cancellation mark from the original Postage Collage stamp set.
As the backdrop to this card, I added the air mail border with the Postage Collage Coloring stencil and layered the Postage Collage panel on a piece of Concord & 9th Tidepool cardstock.
Finally, I added sentiments from the new Elegant Christmas 2 set. The Sending Good Cheer and Making Spirits Bright sentiments fit perfectly inside the square stamps on the Postage Collage die. And as you can see, you can mix and match the sentiments on your card.
As a frosty finishing touch, I added a little glitter snowflake to balance out the card.
