Morning all!
There’s a fun new challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog today set by Kathy, who wants us to celebrate Picasso’s birthday and indeed International Artist Day by making a card inspired by an artist, artwork, or just art in general.
Well, I’m still chipping away at my Christmas cards, so I wondered how I could mesh the two together, and of course Vincent himself provided the solution with a rather rough and ready homage to The Starry Night:

I started out by cutting the Jumbo Tag from Bristol cardstock and blending three shades of blue ink from the bottom up – leaving some white space at the bottom for the snow.
Then I cut the houses, stars, and snow border from the same white cardstock and added all the elements to the tag.
I then stamped the sentiment at the bottom in my mini Misti and added white pen details around the stars.
Once the tag was assembled, I attached it to the blue card base and added some Stickles over the top of the white pen details and along the ground for extra sparkle.
