Morning all!
I’m back with another festive card featuring supplies I picked up in the Spellbinders sale a few months ago.
I am a sucker for a good layering stencil set.
They’re great for making easy-to-mail cards that don’t have a lot of bulk to them.
And, as you know, I do enjoy getting creative with ink colours.
So when the Layered Joy Tree stencils were deeply discounted, it was a no-brainer!
Stencils: Spellbinders – Layered Joy Tree, Waffle Flower – Postage Collage Coloring
Die: Pinkfresh Studio – Diagonal Stitched Rectangles
So for the first outing of this set, I was guided by the colours in the sample illustration.
My double-ended shader brushes from Waffle Flower were very handy here!
And it was nice to try this stencil out on a light grey background first.
The colours still pop, and I cut the panel down with a stitched die.
I went with an airmail border to finish off the look.
