Morning all!
Well, the time has finally come, my beloved Tuesday morning breakfast hang out is closing at the end of the month.
It’s still hard to believe. But for the past few years it’s been the place for us to catch up, talk rubbish, and enjoy a wonderful breakfast like no other. I will definitely miss my avocado toast there, toasted banana bread, and many of the lunch options too – like the chicken stack and the halloumi bagel… sigh….
But to say thank you to the wonderful owner, I created a bespoke card from our breakfast crew….
Paper: Honey Bee Stamps – Fresh Brewed (r)
Dies: Pretty Pink Posh – Winter Mug, Spellbinders – Merry Mug Creations, The Stamp Market – Love and Thanks, The Stamp Market – Scalloped Window Frame
First up, I grabbed the Love & Thanks die set from The Stamp Market to cut the sentiment from four colours, à la the mugs and teapots that have graced our table…
The mug and hot chocolate surface is cut with the Winter Mug die set from Pretty Pink Posh.
But I needed some non-festive elements to decorate it with. So I grabbed the Merry Mug Creations set from Spellbinders for the cream swirl, chocolate pieces, and dainty marshmallows.
There had to be a chalkboard backdrop, some cork (for the place mats/coasters), and some wood for the window aperture cut with the Scalloped Window Frame die.
Until next time, happy crafting!
