Time for another Festive Friday project, and this week I have some retired products in the spotlight.
It’s always lovely to flick through my Christmas-themed stamp and die bins to see what takes my fancy, and here comes Santa Claus (in tag form!).

I started out by creating my Santa tag with two layers of white cardstock for the beard layered up on the red tag, so that the face cut from Spellbinders Bellini would fit in nicely.
After stamping the details on the face and beard, I added puffy paint galore.
I grabbed some printed digital papers from my stash to create the card base: Crate Paper Fa La La inside the ornate oval frame and DCWV Mod Christmas for the background cut with the Double Stitched Rectangles die from Pinkfresh Studio.
Being able to use digital versions of some of my favourite festive collections has been marvellous. It’s so hard to get nice papers these days, especially with American Crafts being sold and having no new paper releases. Plus a lot of these older collections had lots of useful neutral B-sides that get used a lot more than the A-sides, so you don’t have to worry quite so much about running out of them.
Finally, I added some festive greenery and a bow to the bottom of the frame with the Holly and Pine dies from Hello Bluebird.
And there we go, another card made!
