For this week’s Festive Friday card, I took inspiration from a new-to-me card challenge blog.
The Christmas Kickstart Challenge blog aims to help you keep on top of your Christmas card production through the year with fun monthly challenges.
So, prompted by some crafty friends, I took the plunge and gave the January challenge a go.

I love a bit of pink at Christmas, and already had an idea in mind, basically combining the Rounded Window Delight cover die from The Stamp Market with their Layered Christmas tree dies.
I’ve done this recently with another cover die, but this time wanted to feature just green trees.
The cover die is cut from C9 Pink Lemonade cardstock mounted on C9 Ballet Slipper. I splattered the Ballet Slipper panel with white paint and splattered the cover panel with pearlescent white and regular white Gansai Tambi paints.
The trees are cut from C9 Evergreen, and jazzed up with chunky Rock Candy glitter, and the little stars cut with the Merry Delights die set as you can cut 8 in one go. Always preferable to sending one tiny die through your machine over and over again.
To finish off my card, I added the Deck the Halls sentiment from the Merry Little Ornaments set.
