My Festive Friday make this week features preloved supplies I came across on eBay – always fun to find some gems out there and give them a new home!

When Hello Bluebird first announced it was discontinuing a lot of stock on its site back in 2024, I managed to snag the lovely December Post stamp and die set from one of the UK-based Design Team members on eBay. I thought it would make a great accompaniment to Waffle Flower’s Postage Collage dies and stencils, and I used it with that in mind here.
But I was especially happy to come across the MFT Square Grid Cover Up die on eBay recently, as it features 12 squares, perfect for 12 little Christmas icons.
So I chose my 12 elements from the December Post set, some are coloured in with the solid colour stamps in the set, and others are coloured with markers – with white pen highlights added (I hope to get better at this one day!).
For my card base, I covered my card blank in candy stripe paper from Pebble’s Cozy and Bright digital paper pack.
The pink background is Blush cardstock from The Stamp Market, splattered with white paint.
And the cover plate is cut three times from white cardstock to layer up the dimension.
I used foam tape to pop up all the elements, and cut a red heart from Lawn Fawn to go behind the Merry Everything sentiment.
And there we go, I’ll have to see whether I have stickers from old Christmas collections that will fit in this 12-square grid too.
