Festive Fridays | Christmas Cheer

Well, I just managed to scrape it together enough to get a card made in time for this week’s Festive Friday!

And inspired by my Santa number last week, I thought it was time to bring out the fab Santa mug in the Cocoa Wonderland die set.

Card idea | Spellbinders Cocoa Wonderland

I cannot lie, this card is a bit of a hodgepodge of things I already had stamped and cut ready to go on a project.

The only real work was the cutting and building of the Cocoa Wonderland mug – in many snazzy festive shades of course!

Once Santa was assembled, I covered a card blank in striped paper from the Cozy and Bright collection, added the A2 Stitched Scallops background cut from DCWV Merry Mod Christmas, and grabbed a pre-stamped sentiment from the Tear Strip Tags set to pop below the mug.

Finally, I added some Crystal sequins for a pop of sparkle, and my card was finished.

Sometimes you can be thankful for all those bits and pieces in your stash that you prepared for an earlier project that just didn’t work out… they come in handy when in a pinch!
