My next selection of festive cards includes my favourite ever tree die and the way I always love to use it – creating a 3D die-cut:

So once again I took a mini production line approach to this project. If I was going to be using embossing paste I needed to make more than 1 card for it to be worth the clean-up and prep, etc. So I got as many panels cut from a 12×12 sheet of the grey cardstock, stencilled all the backgrounds and left them to dry while I cut and assembled my trees.
I love how quickly just one piece of paper from the Knit Picky paper pad from Lawn Fawn creates the perfect background for anything festive. This may be the first 6×6 paper pad that I ever use up in full! I especially love the multi-coloured knit print.
The Forest border die is also so effective and goes well with the Lil’ Inker Christmas tree.
The MISTI also made stamping the greetings and accents very easy as you can do multiple cards in succession with everything aligned uniformly.
