This week’s challenge for the Daring Cardmakers Countdown to Christmas doesn’t need to be a card, it could be any craft project.
But it must feature trees!
I recently made some stitched Christmas tree projects and shared them here.
Here’s one as a reminder:
They use a die by The Stamp Market that adds a pattern of dots ready to stitch your design.
Well, I have an upcoming crop that I wanted to pack light for and thought this would be a good project for that evening.
I decided to start by cutting lots of trees from various left-over cardstock pieces that I thought would work on a card.
And here are the first three that I stitched one evening:
Ready to appear on Christmas cards next year! 😀
After that experiment, I’ve ordered more embroidery thread online in mixed colours ready to stitch some more trees at the crop. 🙂
