Slowly but surely I’ve been working on some projects behind the scenes.
I’m almost caught up with where I want to be in the actual making of them, but still need to start my Easter cards at some point!
One of the items on my to-do list was a card for the March card challenge prompt. If you cast your mind back, this prompt was all about totally embracing the colour green, but also had some great spring floral elements and interesting background patterns.
Well, here’s my take:

This project gave me the opportunity to use some old items in my stash together with some brand-new additions, namely the Just Mason Around stamps and dies from The Greetery, PTI’s Gran’s Garden stamps and dies, and I also used my Stamp Market inks for some direct stamping with blocks rather than the Misti for all those multi-step florals and leaves. 🙂
They turned out really nicely, and it’s always been quicker to stamp these sorts of things direct onto the die-cut for sets where there’s no open matching die. It’s nice to have an ink that doesn’t require double stamping for this too. 🙂 I got solid impressions first go with those inks.
For the mason jar I used Altenew Sea Glass, Lawn Fawn Merman, and Altenew Lagoon. If I’d been really dedicated I’d have stamped some mock stems in the jar but I loved how the jar turned out as is.
And there we have another card in the card basket ready to go!
