I’m over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog today with an autumnal make featuring some recent releases from The Greetery.
I’m a real sucker for multi-step floral stamp sets. Just love them. But I especially love it when a set also features some nice foliage elements to fill in the space around the florals.
The Wildwood set from The Greetery has loads of these elements. You can keep things simple by picking out a few choice elements, or go the whole hog and use each element to create the focal point for your card.

I picked some warm autumnal tones to contrast with the grey inks I wanted to use for the stems and foliage.
To frame the floral spray, I grabbed the large embroidery hoop from the Hoopla Ovals die set. I just love the woodgrain detail on the frame and embossing on the screw. These little details add a nice touch of realism.
Once all the floral elements were arranged and stuck down, I added one of the sentiments from the stamp set cut out with the separate sentiment die set.
I definitely needed some maximalist pop to make that frame and the Wildwood florals stand out.
So I reached for some jade cardstock, added texture by scoring lines outwards from the midline every 3/4 of an inch, blended some darker jade ink around the edges of the panel, and finally added some much-needed gold splatter with watercolour paint.
