This week it’s my turn to set the challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog, and well, I just couldn’t resist another Christmas in July theme!
And indeed, it’s yet another occasion for me to use my Waffle Flower Postage Collage supplies.

This time I’ve mixed them up with stamps (and coordinating dies) from Hello Bluebird.
Their US store has had a big blow out sale, as they are now moving exclusively to a kit format.
With their threshold for shipping orders to the UK being £135+ (since Brexit sigh), I wasn’t able to grab some much coveted sets in the sale. But thankfully, one of their UK designers listed several sets in her eBay store that she no longer wanted, and the December Post set is one that was on my wish list.
I originally wanted it because I thought it would work well with the Postage Collage die and other mail themed supplies I have. So out came the Copics for the first bit of colouring in a looooong time!
Once the December Post elements were stamped, cut, and coloured, I grabbed the Postage Collage Coloring stencils to add solid blocks of colour to the Postage Collage die. While the stencil was still over the panel, I added a splatter of white ink for some wintry snow.
I used a mix of elements from the Postage Collage stamp sets listed below to fill in the background, stuck down the December Post elements, and added a sentiment from the Elegant Christmas 2 set.
I added some white pen details here and there, then used the Postage Collage Coloring stencils to add the airmail border in Lobster Red and Bubblegum inks from Lawn Fawn.
