Well today is a bit of a departure on the blog!
I’m sharing a special make in celebration of my cousin’s wedding today.
I entered some secret squirrel sleuthing to find out roughly what the wedding colours might be, and apparently peach was a good way to go!
So I went with ombré peach to create this shaker card for the new Mr and Mrs:

I used the O in the LOVE cover plate to add some bronze(ish) sequins for a shaker element (bronze also being a tip-off in my super secret squirrel sleuthing) and mounted the card on an off-white Bristol card base.
For the main sentiments in the Stories of Love set, I tried out some other darker embossing powders first, but nothing sparkles quite like that Wow Platinum Sparkle embossing powder, which is why it’s my favourite!
Inside the card, I used a sentiment from an old Waltzing Mouse stamp set. It was just the right size to leave space to write our message.
Finally, I needed to make a box envelope for the card, so grabbed some kraft cardstock, my envelope punchboard and decorated the outside with the same Ampersand from the Stories of Love set, and personalised it with the bride and groom’s initials using the Julieta Alpha from Pinkfresh Studio.
As a finishing touch, I added small tassels from The Greetery, and a bow from The Stamp Market’s Presents die set.
