Morning all!
For this year’s Father’s Day card I decided to take some more nautical inspiration from some past projects of mine.
It’s been a while (i.e., two whole seasons) since I used the Postage Collage Beach Days supplies from Waffle Flower, and well, we could do with some actual summer weather, so here goes:

Dies: Memory Box – Heritage Rectangle Frames, Neat & Tangled – Skinny Strips (r), SugarPea Designs – Ahoy Word (r),
Stencils: Waffle Flower – Postage Collage Beach Days
I started out blending all the stencil layers with a range of nautical inks on Bristol smooth white cardstock.
It is so much easier to blend dye ink on this surface, and any blips soon even out.
I think went ink with the Beach Day and Royal Mail stamps from Waffle Flower to add more details.
I recently managed to snag the Heritage Rectangle Frames from Memory Box and happily found that the largest die is a perfect fit to frame the Postage Collage panel.
I cut the blue panel from C9 Harbor cardstock and the Ahoy from Blueberry cardstock. The Father’s Day sentiment is from the Avery Elle Seasonal Simple Sentiments set and is heat embossed on C9 Poppy cardstock.
And there we go, let’s hope this tempts the summer weather to stay!
