It’s a colourful and relatively simple festive card project today, with lots of bits and pieces from The Stamp Market.

I recently added to my collection of versatile and festive supplies from The Stamp Market, and one of those additions was the Layered Christmas Tree die set.

For its first outing, I was totally inspired by one of the projects used to showcase the set in The Stamp Market store, so I can’t claim any originality here! But, I always intended to use the mini trees on framed dies like the Postage Stamps Cover die and Curio style frames, like the Sectional Cover die.

So I grabbed my cardstock scraps and got cutting! (All the colours are listed below)

Once all my little trees were cut and assembled, I cut the Sectional Cover and trimmed down my cardbase to the size of the frame. Before layering it up, I pieced the stitched insert back in and splattered White Gold paint over the entire background.

There are two more frames layered up over that bottom panel.

Next it was time to add the trees to their little frames, popped up on foam tape.

I then added silver glittery stars cut with the handy star die in the Merry Delights set, which cuts 8 stars in one go.

I then added clear glue at the bottom of each section of the trees, sprinkling over Martha Stewart coarse glitter in Crystal first and after shaking that off, I went in with Clear Rock Candy glitter to fill in any wet areas of glue.

Most sparkly!

All that remained was to add a suitable sentiment – from the Merry Little Ornament set in this case.
