I’m back on the Festive Fridays bandwagon while I’m able to sit and make things and my arm and hand aren’t giving me too much discomfort.
Small steps and all that.
So of course, to lift my spirits, it’s time for a (not so) little house card of the festive nature!

I was very much inspired by the lovely card and colour scheme used here by Elin.
The cardstock colours I’ve used are a mix of The Stamp Market, Concord & 9th, and Spellbinders ColorWheel, namely:
- The Stamp Market: Cotton Candy, Aspen, Cranberry
- Concord & 9th: Midnight, Evergreen, Pistachio, Hazelnut
- Spellbinders: Seaside, Mint
I also used Glacier glitter card from Pinkfresh Studio (a sample sent by a friend) and silvery white glitter card from Memory Box.
The coordinating stamp set in the Yuletide Lane bundle also got put to good use for the shiplap pattern and tree and door details.
The house outline die in the set makes it very easy to make a dimensional stand-alone card by simply cutting the outline twice, trimming off the flap on the right of the front panel, and flipping over the other panel so that the flap creates a hinge on the left.
Then it was a matter of cutting and assembling all the bits and pieces to bring this card to life.
