I’m a sucker for fancy bows, and there have been so many great bow die sets released recently, or at least in the run-up to last Christmas.
One set that made it onto my wishlist was the Gifting Bow die set from Spellbinders – and I finally managed to get it while there was a sale on. Result!

One of the things I find handy with Spellbinders die sets, especially the ones involving the assembly of small bits and pieces is that the product photo is often a great starting point when using a set for the first time.
So I confess, this card is inspired by the packaging and other project examples from the Spellbinders DT.
Once I’d cut and assembled all the bits and pieces I wanted to use (mostly from my ColorWheel scraps folder), I arranged everything on an A2 panel of Bellini cardstock cut with the largest Heritage Rectangle Frames die from Memory Box.
There are banner sentiments in the Gifting Bow set, but I wanted to divide the space up with a larger banner so turned to my trusty Tear Strip Tags and Banners from The Greetery. They stamp and cut four different strips at a time, so I’m good to go with more banner sentiments for future projects too.
And there we go, a relatively simple card to put together once you’ve chosen and cut all the smaller elements.
