Over the Easter weekend I finally had chance to play with some older purchases in the storage bin on my desk.
These included some items from past Spellbinders kits that were reduced earlier this year.

It all began with me testing out the printing results of some nautical papers in the Pebbles Night Night digi collection on plain white card. I thought they’d make a great backdrop to the Sailor’s Light large die of the month set from last June.
I’ve been wanting to get this set for ages – along with the fab stamp set and coordinating dies.
I would still like to get the stencils and other dies from that month, but not managed it so far.
The idea I had in mind called for a 5×7 card to frame the little scene within the largest Essential Arches dies.
Then it was time to cut all the elements from the Sailor’s Light dies – mainly with ColorWheel cardstock, but also some neutrals from C9 to add colour variation.
The Anchors Away sentiments fit nicely within the scene and I just needed a fun finishing touch…

This is definitely a dimensional card that will be delivered in person later this year, but sometimes you just need a lot of pop!
