Well, the flowers are blooming in the garden and here on my blog. Today I’m revisiting an old set from Pinkfresh Studio that has been a little neglected.

I originally bought the Farm Fresh stamps, dies, and colouring stencils for spring/Easter cards, but have failed to make full use of this bundle.

Recently I’ve made a few cards using the Capsule Basics dies from The Greetery on both A2 and UK A6 card formats… and I woke up the other day thinking, would the Farm Fresh set fit in those Capsule dies?

The answer is yes! And very nicely too!

So out came the set, and I happily discovered that I had already cut and coloured the florals twice over, and they were ready to use on a card. Result!

So I cannot share my ink colours for the shading or the exact shade of grey ink for the outlines… but it’s a simple enough combo of shades.

For assembly, I cut the two jar dies in the set from PTI Lemon Tart cardstock, one the textured jar and the other the plain jar to sandwich the bouquet between and create extra dimension.

I also blended some Lawn Fawn Butter ink with a big fluffy brush around the edges of the jar.

Then it was time to put everything together.

I covered an A6 UK cardbase with floral paper from Pebbles Lullaby digital paper pack and cut the Capsule Basics scallop from C9 Ivory card layered with a pale pink Bazzill card over the top.

Once the jar was attached, I wondered about where to place the main sentiment stamped on C9 White card.

It looked best offset in the corner but that left lots of empty space.

Then I remembered! The Fit to Be Tied bows from The Greetery might work, and they sure did. The bow cut from rustic C9 Wheat cardstock also allowed me to add a stamped label with another sentiment from the Farm Fresh set on an ivory tag cut from the Sentiment Suite Basics die set by The Greetery.

And there we go, card complete.
